Materials you will need:

Picture
  • Paper pattern (see download link above)
  • Pins
  • Sewing needle
  • Paper scissors
  • Fabric scissors
  • Stuffing forceps (only hard core doll makers will have these! Otherwise use a chopstick or your fingers) If you're a nurse you'll find these lying around for free...
  • Fabric invisible pen - this is your best friend for doll making especially for the face! This pen changed my life. Otherwise use a pencil
  • Sewing machine threaded up - or you can hand sew
  • Toy stuffing (if not use old cushion/duvet stuffing)
  • Doll body fabric. I've chosen a print linen here on the materials photo but on my doll above I used a flower print. You could use an old shirt or a piece of fabric that holds meaning for you, hence the spirit element of the doll project.
  • Small piece of calico
  • Pens and pencil crayons to draw face
  • Or you can embroider face
  • Ribbons, flowers, buttons, old jewelry to embellish. I've used 2 crochet flowers here.

See you online!
